Ellie is an exceptional physiotherapist who treats both orthopaedic and pelvic patients. Her background in pelvic health rehabilitation has provided her with a unique appreciation of neuromuscular motor control, alignment, and pain science. She is passionate about continuing education. After completing her Bachelor of Health Sciences at McMaster University, and Masters of Physical Therapy at Western University she has gone on to pursue post-graduate education in manual therapy, acupuncture, gait analysis and a plethora of pelvic health courses. Ellie particularly loves to treat clients with a chronic pain and long-standing injuries, as she experienced first-hand the impact chronic conditions can have after suffering a concussion. She understands how rehabilitation can be both a physical and psychological recovery process, and believes in treating the client as a whole and figuring out the root cause of the symptoms, rather than just symptom management. Ellie’s favourite part of being a physiotherapist is that it allows her to not only be creative, but also solve complex body mechanics problems, so as to directly improve the quality of life of her clients. In her spare time, Ellie likes to play guitar, dance, read, hit the gym, and do yoga.
